I'm pleased to let our Literacy blog readers know about my new personal blog - "Emily Shares." That's just it; it's an outlet for me to share. No sugar coating; just the real, plain, honest me. To debut this little blog experiment, I've posted about our coconut adventure in Mexico.

KooKoo for Coconuts!
While we were in Mexico, we feasted on fresh coconuts - one of Tedd's favorite foods. He was so thrilled!
Regional Literacy Training in Mexico!
Tedd & I were in Mexico for 2 weeks earlier this month.
We went to teach and serve at a literacy training. The training's purpose was to train trainers, who can train teachers, who can teach people to read and write in their native tongue. In this case, the native tongue is Spanish. Still with me? I understand if you're not...
The two literacy leaders that were trained (smallest group we've ever had by far, but two quality people!)
